Foreword

The west Lake landscape painting can be traced back to the Southern Song Dynasty painting academy in Wangjiangmen, Hangzhou, more than 800 years ago. The Southern Song Dynasty painting academy has been in existence for more than 100 years, and there are 120 painters whose names can be tested. Li Tang, Liu Songnian, Ma Yuan and Xia GUI, four famous painters of the Southern Song Dynasty in the history of Chinese painting, all painted many landscapes of The West Lake. In addition, numerous painters in the Painting academy of the Southern Song Dynasty painted the beautiful landscape of the West Lake with their own feelings. Even Emperor Gaozong of the Song Dynasty, who was honored as the sovereign of a country, painted han in person...

The popularity of west Lake painting can be imagined. During the 150 years of the Southern Song Dynasty, West Lake painting developed greatly and began to become an indispensable part of the west Lake landscape culture.

The China Academy of Fine Arts, located by the West Lake, was founded by Mr. CAI Yuanpei in 1928. Formerly known as the National Academy of Arts, it has weathered many storms in the past 80 years. From the distant mountain bells, nanshan lake of the long, to the xiangshan foothills of the grand. With years passing by and people changing, the spirit is passed on from generation to generation. China Academy of Art has always been at the forefront of China's art education. The beautiful scenery of lakes and mountains gives students unlimited imagination and inspiration, and creates a large number of excellent works of art. China Academy of Art produces a large number of talents, and The Department of Chinese Painting is one of the majors with the longest history and the most abundant teachers. It inherits the "peak consciousness" advocated by Mr. Pan Tianshou, inherits the tradition and carries forward the national culture as its own duty, and cultivates generation after generation of artistic talents.

The three young people who participated in the exhibition all studied under professor Lin Haizong, a famous landscape painter and doctoral supervisor of the Department of Chinese Painting of China Academy of Art. Although the personality is honest and gentle, but the painting style also has its own characteristics. Weng Zhidong is a post-doctoral, deep research Ming Dynasty early Cheng Xiu wind, the pursuit of chun ancient Cang Ya artistic conception, mostly dry pen, dry cun see Cang Run. Zhao zhe studies Hongren, one of the four painting monks in the early Qing Dynasty. Yu Zhongwei is studying Dong Qichang, the painting is elegant, quiet and sparse, green color simple and elegant. Taking Yongfu Temple in Hangzhou as the theme, "Eight Scenes of Yongfu" were created. Although the three studied in Ming and Qing dynasties according to the instructions of their teachers, they traced their origin from the landscape painting in Song Dynasty and were deeply influenced by their tutors. For many years, his tutor Lin Haizong has been devoted to the comprehension and comprehension of traditional painting, and he has confirmed it with ink and ink and felt it with his heart. He especially liked the scenery in the Song Dynasty. His fine brush and fine ink not only came from his deep understanding of the landscape, but also from his infinite love for the scenery of West Lake. The students have been following for many years, influenced by what they see and hear, and have been taught a lot. They have also become the best among many students in the Department of Chinese painting. In the future, I hope I can carefully ponder over the relationship between "thinking" and "scenery", draw more from life and create more, not only know the nature, but also know the reason, and gradually form my own unique landscape painting programming language.

Today, three young artists are holding an exhibition of traditional Chinese painting "Landscape and Clear Sound" in the Gallery of Huanglong Hotel, which is not only a demonstration of their own learning and creation stage, but also a report exhibition to their tutor and colleagues. It is also a blessing and a pleasure that the Gallery can provide a platform for such young talents to communicate and show. Finally, I sincerely wish them smooth sailing in their respective artistic paths and better and better.
